Role Description The Training Specialist is a full-time role based in Miami, FL with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and updating training programs for café team members and supervisors, covering topics such as product knowledge, food safety, customer service, and daily operations. Day-to-day activities include conducting onboarding sessions, facilitating in-person and virtual trainings, creating instructional materials and job aids, and assessing training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics. The Training Specialist collaborates closely with store management and corporate leadership to ensure consistent standards across locations, supports continuous learning, and helps maintain a positive, guest-focused culture. The role may involve occasional travel to other locations for on-site training and support.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to present information to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Training & Development and Training skills, with experience facilitating group sessions and one-on-one coaching.
- Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills, including the ability to create engaging training materials, guides, and e-learning content.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills and a focus on guest experience within a retail, café, or hospitality environment.
- Experience in food service, hospitality, or retail operations is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
