This position is responsible for leading Go!Foton’s Quality Assurance function located at its headquarters, ensuring the quality of both products and services delivered to its customers throughout the entire process. The Go!Foton Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) reports to the President, CEO, and works closely with various internal functions as well as both its wholly-owned overseas manufacturing facilities and its domestic and overseas contract manufacturers. The primary role of the QAM is to develop and implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, analyze data, and collaborate with various teams to maintain high standards. This position also plays a crucial role in identifying and resolving quality issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and Implementing Quality Assurance Systems: Create standards, procedures and protocols for optical components and systems. Establish and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Overseeing Programs Ensuring Product and Service Quality and Reliability: Analyze test results and identify deviations from established quality criteria. Collaborate with engineers to address and resolve any quality issues.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations on quality performance for management review. Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design, engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle. Communicate quality standards and expectations to all team members. Provide training and guidance on quality procedures and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality processes and systems. Implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant industry standards, regulations, best practices and advancements to ensure the organization adheres to them.

- Experience with implementing and maintaining QMS frameworks.
- A history of accomplishing quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Experience maintaining and improving product quality by completing product, company, system and compliance audits.
- A strong understanding and technical expertise in optical principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including a demonstrated ability to synthesize, interpret, and communicate market and competitive data.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events.
- Strong contract negotiation skills, including an understanding of legal terms and conditions with contract management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in related fields
- 10 years’ experience in Quality Management or related experience
- Experience with ISO and leading Company ISO Certification a must

- Familiarity with ERP Systems, specifically Dynamics 365 is a plus.
