Position Summary
GO FLOORING is seeking an experienced Flooring Installation Contractor to install a variety of flooring products, including:
- Carpet
- Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP/LVT)
- Hardwood
- Laminate
- Tile
Our ideal contractor is reliable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.
Responsibilities
- Install flooring in residential and new construction projects according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Remove existing flooring when required.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, repairing, or applying appropriate adhesives and underlayment.
- Move furniture and appliances as necessary to complete installations.
- Install carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, and tile flooring.
- Apply adhesives, grout, trim, transitions, and finishing materials as needed.
- Ensure all installations are completed accurately, securely, and with exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Review completed work with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Collect customer payments when required.
- Represent GO FLOORING professionally while providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional flooring installation experience required.
- General liability insurance required.
- Experience installing multiple flooring types preferred.
- Ability to read measurements and perform accurate calculations.
- Strong knowledge of flooring installation techniques and industry best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges and work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in residential homes and construction environments.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while working under varying levels of physical demand and time-sensitive schedules.
