Go Fast Manufacturing in New London , WI is looking for one material handler to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on N3752 Drier Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
Material Handler
Fulltime – Days
Monday – Thursday 6am – 430pm
Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and storing materials within the facility while ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth shipping and receiving operations. This role involves working closely with the production team, and sales team to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Inventory Control:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Store materials in designated locations following company guidelines.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the ERP system
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory audits.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Verify and process incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, and invoices as required.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
- Operate equipment safely and report any malfunctions or hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Assist in company organization
- Support production teams with material supply as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting of material handling equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Requires standing, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods.
- May involve exposure to varying temperatures
