Due to the growth of GNT we are seeking a

Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper will support the finance team by assisting with month-end close, financial reporting, and other accounting functions. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a desire to grow in a hands-on accounting role.

The role:

• Work closely with the Controller and the Director of Finance to handle GNT’s accounting needs.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and inventory reports.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, deposits, and payments.
• Assist with posting transactions and managing AR functions alongside another Bookkeeper.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor/customer accounts.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and ensure accurate financial records.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records in the ERP system.
• Use Excel for reporting, analysis, and data management.
• Support other accounting and finance projects as assigned.

Additional responsibilities:

• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Complete all assigned safety training in a timely manner.
• Stay current with all required training and ensure timely completion.
• Follow the Company's established processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and product quality guidelines.
• Maintain a collaborative team mindset while actively supporting GNT's Food Safety culture.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensure your uniform is neat at all times, and support colleagues in adhering to hygiene standards.

About you, as our ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or ERP-driven environment
• Experience with ERP/accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
