Stamping
- Hot and conventional stamping (100–800 tons)

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 2:10pm-10:30pm. With overtime based on business needs.
Position Summary
The Hot Stamp Operator is responsible for operating, adjusting, and maintaining automatic or semi-automatic press equipment used to shape and form metal parts. This role ensures quality production output while meeting established production targets and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate equipment used to harden, anneal, and heat-treat metal components
- Start, monitor, and record machine operations and production data
- Read and interpret work orders and production schedules to determine specifications (materials, dimensions, tolerances, temperatures, and heat cycles)
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers) to ensure quality standards are met
- Adjust machine speeds and settings based on product specifications
- Monitor production flow; unload and properly store parts
- Identify, segregate, and handle non-conforming products and scrap material
- Maintain accurate documentation for finished goods and production activities
- Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, lubrication)
- Report equipment issues or malfunctions to leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
- Assist in training new employees as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards
- Follow all safety and quality procedures and standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of experience operating presses or similar manufacturing equipment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic understanding of:
- Press operations
- Quality control processes
- Manufacturing materials and production methods
- Basic math and English comprehension
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to:
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Work independently and make sound decisions
This work area will require applicants to have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a high level of attention to detail. ****It is important to note that due to the type of machinery we run, the temperatures in the plant will be high with high humidity as well.****
