Location: Lake Marina Tower
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus on-call response for water and plumbing emergencies

Lake Marina Tower is seeking an experienced, hands-on Building Maintenance Engineer to oversee the daily maintenance and operation of the property.
Primary responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and HVAC systems, including closed-loop systems, cooling towers, heat pumps, pumps, valves, and air handlers.
- Monitor the Building Automation System (BAS/DDC), including alarms, temperatures, schedules, and setpoints.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate equipment and maintenance records.
- Identify mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building problems; coordinate outside repairs when needed.
- Respond to emergencies, including after-hours water and plumbing issues.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, repairs, moves, and deliveries.
- Inspect the building and maintain common areas, mechanical rooms, pool areas, fitness room, and other shared spaces.
- Monitor security cameras, access systems, parking, and building procedures.
- Assist the concierge and custodian, including about one hour of front-desk coverage during the concierge’s lunch break.
- Communicate professionally with residents, management, contractors, vendors, and staff.
Qualifications: Building engineering experience in a condominium, apartment, hotel, or similar property; hands-on mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing knowledge; experience with closed-loop systems and BAS/DDC controls; troubleshooting and basic computer skills. Current licenses or certifications may be required.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, stand and walk for extended periods, and work safely in mechanical and service areas.
Salary : $800 - $1,200
