Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks for steel-frame structures and fabric-tensioned buildings
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy
- Update and revise drawings based on field changes or project needs
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents
- Ensure drawings meet structural, safety, and manufacturing standards
- Assist with design optimization to reduce cost and improve manufacturability
Requirements
- SolidWorks experience required
- Background in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial construction
- Strong understanding of structural components and assembly design
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Rhome, TX
