Steel - Fabric Building Construction
- Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, design resources, and engineering support for assigned projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all deadlines, milestones, and permits are met.
- Collaborate closely with Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Lead Hands to support seamless field execution.
- Track budgets and project progress, identifying issues early and implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee project invoicing, documentation, and reporting at key milestones.
- Maintain and enforce GNB’s high safety standards across all job sites.
- Support and update site-specific Health & Safety programs to ensure compliance and safe operations.
Mission Critical Manufacturing (MCM) division
- Act as primary client contact for high-visibility MCM projects.
- Develop and manage CPM schedules for design, detailing, procurement, fabrication, and installation.
- Review architectural and structural drawings, steel fabrication details, and CSI Divisions 5 13.
- Oversee procurement activities, POs, subcontract negotiations, and vendor performance.
- Monitor budgets, track CTCs, forecast costs, and issue/approve change orders.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Fabrication, Logistics, and onsite personnel for seamless execution.
- Maintain project safety, documentation, and compliance.
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management in construction, manufacturing, structural, or industrial environments.
- Understanding of project life cycle, contract terms, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawings.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and jobsite coordination.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam, Project scheduling software, or Procore is a plus.
- Familiarity with tension fabric structures, construction, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
