What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Implant Sales Consultant position at GnA Consulting?
Job Description:
This role is for both a master closer and a hands-on trainer — the expert we deploy into client practices across the country to drive results and raise the bar for the teams we serve. This is a travel-based role: you'll work on-site at dental implant practices nationwide, owning the consult process, closing life-changing full-arch cases, and teaching each practice's own team to do the same long after your visit ends.
You are a true, empathetic seller who builds genuine rapport and trust with patients as they make one of the most important decisions of their lives — and a natural mentor who lifts everyone around you. You bring the financial and business savvy to educate and guide patients through the decision, and the leadership to model best practices, coach in the moment, and raise the standard of every team you join. You don't just close cases — you make the whole practice better by providing a white glove service experience to both the teams and the patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client practices nationwide to lead on-site with dental implant sales engagements
- Own the consult (sales) process using our proprietary E-A-Z Model™
- Close life-changing full-arch implant cases with empathy, authenticity, and integrity
- Continue working all open leads for up to 30 days following the close of the engagement, capturing cases that would otherwise be lost and protecting the value delivered to both patient and practice
- Train, coach, and raise the bar for each practice's in-house team — modeling the consult process and teaching the methods so strong results continue after you leave
- Educate prospective patients on the practice's services and guide them through the implant journey
- Conduct timely follow-up calls that move prospective patients toward a confident decision
- Build payment plans tailored to each patient's financial needs
- Re-engage every unclosed lead 30 days after their office visit — a structured follow-up touchpoint to revive interest, address lingering hesitations, and recapture cases that didn't close on the spot
- Build a robust pipeline through proactive outreach, community engagement, and lead generation
- Manage the referral-based lead-generation process, partnering with existing patients to identify future ones
- Ensure a smooth, seamless transition from consult to procedure
- Collaborate with doctors and general managers to create and drive sales
- Take on other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of direct-to-consumer, consultative sales experience (dental or full-arch implant experience strongly preferred)
- A track record of building rapport and closing high-value, life-changing cases
- Experience coaching, training, or mentoring others to higher performance
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
- Familiarity with loan origination, interest rates, and patient financing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Dental software experience preferred
