Shipping II (Shakopee)

The shipping position in Shakopee is the final stop before an order ships from our facility but represents the first impression for the hearing professional or the end-user of the order. Training provided.

Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

• Ship to company standards and goals
• Pack out all level 1-3 orders per work instructions
• Ability to read and understand a Pick Ticket & Shipping Documents
• Manages the shipment of all products, materials and supplies
• Confirm accuracy of orders
• Ship product through multiple carriers (international, ground, express, USPS, etc.) as required
• Perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Accomplish other duties as required

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
  
  

Experience:

• Hearing Aid Manufacturing experience a plus
  
  

Working Environment:

The position will be working in the Operations area.

Physical Demands:

The below physical demands are appropriate for both Shipping 1 and Shipping 2 job descriptions.

Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Able to lift 25 pounds by self and 50 pounds with a team lift. (i.e. Sitting, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, etc.)

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday. The daily hours are 8-10 hours per day. Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays

Pay Transparency Notice:

• Compensation for this position can range from 18.50 - 20.75 an hour
• Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
