About the Role:
The Business Development Executive is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing TMG’s Business Development team and driving company-wide growth initiatives through strategic partnerships, market expansion, account management, and client relationship development. This role serves as a key leader in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and expanding TMG’s presence across current and emerging markets.
This position will act as the primary point of contact for the Company’s largest and highest-volume accounts while also maintaining executive-level communication and reporting with internal leadership teams and external partners. The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in supporting strategic growth initiatives, evaluating new markets, and driving expansion opportunities across Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, and future operational regions.
We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and relationship-driven leader with strong healthcare, transportation, or service-industry business development experience who thrives in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Company’s Business Development team, including performance management, coaching, strategic direction, and growth initiatives.
- Drive and execute company-wide business development strategies focused on sustainable growth, operational scalability, and market expansion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Company’s largest accounts by volume and revenue.
- Maintain ownership of total company account management initiatives, including relationship development, retention strategies, issue escalation, and long-term partnership growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership reporting, strategic communication, and partnership updates related to business development activities and key accounts.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including geographic expansion, strategic partnerships, new payer relationships, and service diversification opportunities.
- Lead efforts related to new market research, expansion feasibility, operational opportunity analysis, and strategic growth planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, dialysis centers, senior living communities, managed care organizations, insurance providers, government agencies, and referral partners.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing structures, and partnership agreements in alignment with Company operational capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, Dispatch, and Executive Leadership to support organizational growth initiatives and operational readiness.
- Represent TMG and affiliated entities at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, and community engagements.
- Monitor healthcare transportation industry trends, reimbursement structures, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop reporting metrics and provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding pipeline activity, account performance, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Support onboarding, retention, and relationship management efforts for key accounts and strategic partners.
- Assist with evaluating operational readiness and market viability for new and emerging locations.

- Remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer and using standard office equipment.
- Move between office, client, and field environments, including standing, walking, and traveling between locations as needed.

Qualifications:
- 7 years of leadership experience in business development, strategic partnerships, account management, or sales, preferably within healthcare transportation, healthcare services, or related industries.
- Experience leading and developing business development or sales teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payers, reimbursement structures, managed care organizations, and healthcare partnership development.
- Proven ability to manage large strategic accounts and executive-level client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with market expansion, strategic growth initiatives, and business development planning.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.
- Data-driven and analytically minded, with experience developing growth strategies and tracking performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
- Tech-proficient, with working knowledge of Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting multi-state operations and expansion efforts preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–50%, including visiting existing client accounts and traveling out of state to support current operations, new market development, and business expansion initiatives as needed.
Work Location: Onsite, with regional responsibilities across Nevada, New Mexico, and emerging markets.
Reporting: Reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Compensation:
- Total Target Compensation: Starting at $95,000 annually
- Base Salary: $95,000 annually
- Incentive Compensation: Eligible to participate in the Company's applicable commission or incentive compensation plan, if any.
- Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated performance.
