What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at GMS Construction?
GMS Construction is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Finishers to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and general construction. To gain consideration for this role, candidates must be able to pass all GMS pre-employment requirements including a background check and a drug test. These are local positions to Kershaw, SC.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Construction of new and remodeled homes
- Concrete work and construction of new and existing homes
- Painting and drywall, as well as other interior finishing skills
- Install, repair, or maintain interior finishings such as doors, windows, moldings, etc.
- Install, repair, or maintain exterior finishings such as siding, windows, etc.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as carpenter or similar role
- Hands-on experience in carpentry, painting, drywall, masonry or stone work, and or woodworking.
- Ability to use power tools (e.g., saws) and various power tools (e.g., drills)
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
