What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at GMPS, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours to showcase available units and amenities
- Provide accurate information about rental rates, lease terms, and move-in specials
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding leasing availability and property details
- Process rental applications, including background checks and credit screenings
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are properly executed
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Assist with property maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in leasing or customer service is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively close leasing deals
- Proficiency in data entry
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for filing and record keeping
- Familiarity with customer relationship management.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
