Warehouse Associate Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate/maintenance tech
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse associate with some maintenance/mechanical experience to join our team. This candidate will work in the warehouse supporting the facility with general warehouse duties as well as some maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience operating a variety of vehicles. This individual must have prior warehouse and inventory exp.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including packing and unpacking goods and materials
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Assist with inventory control
- Load and unload goods and materials from the warehouse onto the vehicle
- Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured for transport
- Inspect warehouse vehicles for mechanical issues and report any problems to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records for all items relating to the warehouse
- Work with the warehouse mgr and General mgr on some maintenance projects
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record A MUST
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse and inventory exp a must
- Maintenance/mechanical experience a plus
Working Conditions: The Warehouse associate will spend most of their time loading/unloading goods and materials as well as general warehouse support pulling inventory for production. This individual may be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may need to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements: The Warehouse associate must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time. They must also have good hand-eye coordination and be able to operate a variety of vehicles.
