Company Description
GMP Metal Products is a contract manufacturer specializing in quality metal stampings, fabrications, and assemblies. Our operations include laser cutting, forming, deep drawing, welding, and metal finishing, with a high-tonnage press capability of up to 1,500 tons. Based in St. Louis, Missouri we also have an additional facility in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Louis, MO for an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. This role involves estimating labor, material, and production costs, developing and communicating detailed proposals, collaborating with various departments to coordinate project workflows, and maintaining detailed records of project information. The Estimator will also interact regularly with customers to clarify requirements and ensure project alignment. *******Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.********
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation and project management
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Experience with manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient with relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, CAD and Solidworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Relevant industry experience is a plus
