• GMMB has a hybrid work schedule with at least three days in office presence; additional in office days as needed. 
• This position is based in Washington, DC. 
• Salary range - $70,000 - $95,000 
• This is a full-time, salaried and benefits eligible position to run through mid-November 2026.

This is a position on GMMB’s award-winning political team and is a great opportunity to play a key supporting role on some of the biggest races and issues in the 2026 midterm election cycle.

You are... a Copywriter who knows how to:

• Work with Account Leads to develop engaging creative ideas that are on-strategy, and achieve client objectives. 
• Collaborate with an integrated team to understand client goals and develop relevant and effective communication strategies. 
• Write clear, concise and compelling scripts and copy and translate complicated information into easy-to-understand narratives.
• Effectively sell creative thinking to internal teams and to clients. 
• Stay current on advertising, branding, social and cultural trends, and use that knowledge in your creative work. 
• Channel your passion. We want to do some good in the world and we’re looking for people who share that drive. 

You have…

• 3 years of copywriting experience, and or 2 more election cycles of political comms/writing, preferably on a campaign.
• Exceptional writing and grammar skills and attention to detail. 
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects. 
• The flexibility to thrive in a firm that puts client service first. Doing good in the world sometimes means going the extra mile for our clients.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. 
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and understanding how and when to utilize them and how to build agents to promote efficiency.
