Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible assisting in the prep, assembly, and finish welding of OTR wheels. This role requires a strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, whether on your own or with the team.
Duties
- Read and understand wheel manufacturing drawings.
- Assemble all the necessary components in accordance with the given specs.
- Perform spray arc mig welding to complete the fabrication and finish welding of the wheels.
- Utilize plasma cutting tools for precise cuts and prep of materials.
- Operation of a lathe when prepping wheel components for proper fitment.
- Assist with the material prep and staging of parts for upcoming orders.
- Conduct quality checks using tools such as micrometers, and tape measures to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.
- Assist with the palletizing and shipping of finished product.
Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with chop saws, angle grinders, and misc. shop tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Experience with plasma cutting and generalized metal work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
