What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Owner Operator position at GMH Trans, LLC?
GMH Trans, LLC is seeking CDL A Owner Operators to lease on with our team for the long haul!
We operate primarily in the northeast and mid - midwestern states, but do have freight going further out as well.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial class 8 vehicle
- Unload cargo when required
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck and trailer before and after trip
- Maintain equipment as per DOT requirements and regulations
- Scan in all BOLS after each delivery for fast processing
Qualifications:
- 2 yrs previous experience operating CDL a vehicle required
- Clean driving record
- Strong work ethic
- truck must pass federal and our inspection to qualify
