Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Richmond, VA. The Sales Specialist will assist customers in selecting wireless plans, devices, and accessories that best fit their needs, while delivering a friendly and professional in-store experience. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, answering product and service questions, explaining promotions, and processing sales transactions accurately. The role also involves meeting or exceeding sales goals, maintaining store merchandising and cleanliness standards, and assisting with inventory and restocking. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with team members, participate in ongoing training, and support new product or service launches to drive overall store performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening and clear, confident verbal interaction with customers and team members.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building rapport, handling concerns, and ensuring positive in-store experiences.
- Sales and Sales Management aptitude, including meeting targets, upselling, cross-selling, and supporting store sales initiatives.
- Experience in Training or willingness to learn and share product knowledge with colleagues and customers.
- Previous retail, wireless, or related sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Richmond , VA, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic computer use, and mobile technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
