Role Description The District Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Marion, IN, responsible for overseeing multiple retail locations within an assigned district. This role includes managing store performance, coaching and developing Store Managers, and ensuring that sales targets, customer experience standards, and operational goals are consistently met. Day-to-day responsibilities involve visiting stores, reviewing key performance metrics, implementing sales and marketing initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The District Manager collaborates with leadership teams to optimize staffing, training, merchandising, and inventory management, while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment. This role requires frequent in-person engagement with store teams and customers to drive results, resolve escalated issues, and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple retail locations or teams, with strong skills in coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Proficiency in retail operations, including scheduling, inventory control, store merchandising, and compliance with company standards and policies.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to analyze KPIs, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships at all levels.
- Comfort with technology and point-of-sale systems, plus the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and make data-informed decisions.
- Ability to travel regularly within the district, maintain a flexible schedule, and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in wireless, telecom, or multi-unit retail management is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is a plus.
