Responsibilities

  • Engage in outside sales activities by prospecting new clients through cold calling, lead generation, and networking to expand our territory.
  • Manage existing accounts through proactive communication, upselling opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to foster loyalty.
  • Conduct product demos and technical sales presentations to showcase features and benefits tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share within assigned territories.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales trends for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively to close deals while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and promotional strategies to generate leads and boost brand visibility.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, prepare reports on territory performance, and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with analysis skills to assess client needs and craft compelling solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations confidently.
  • Ability to manage a territory independently while coordinating with internal teams for seamless customer support.
  • Knowledge of technology sales or technical sales environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience in management or business development roles that demonstrate leadership potential.
