*Functions of the Sales Representative:*
We are looking for a results-oriented Sales Representative, responsible for all sales functions, from generating leads to closing sales. Your tasks will include opening and closing the store, managing money, counting inventory, bank deposits and communicating sales and goals to the team during your shift.
*Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:*
Work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about the products and recommend the best solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving any inconvenience quickly and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. To be successful in this position, you must keep up to date on the characteristics of the products and keep the store with high standards of presentation. Ultimately, your goal will be to provide excellent customer service while consistently fulfilling the store's sales goals.
*Responsibilities:*
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
* Evaluate customer needs and provide assistance and information on product characteristics.
* Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions.
* Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
* "Go further" to boost sales.
* Keep the assigned areas with stock and in presentable conditions.
* Actively search for customers within the store.
* Stay informed about the products offered and discuss available options.
* Process purchases at the point of sale (POS).
* Cross-selling products.
* Handle merchandise returns.
* Work as a team with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
* Foster relationships of trust with customers.
* Comply with inventory control procedures.
* Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, store redesign).
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience as a retail sales associate, sales representative or similar position.
* Basic knowledge of sales principles and customer service.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
* Basic mathematical skills.
* Knowledge of the market and customer needs.
* Proven history of exceeding sales goals.
* Experience in transactions with POS systems.
* Familiarity with inventory procedures.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly and energetic personality with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle complaints in a timely manner.
* Availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
