Accounting Assistant; Accounts Payable Clerk– Construction
Growing construction company seeking a reliable Accounting Assistant; Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily office operations. This role combines accounts payable, contract administration, and general administrative support. Ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and invoices
- Track, process, and maintain subcontracts, insurance certificates, and lien waivers
- Assist with contract documentation and project files
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Vendor management (W-9s, COIs, compliance tracking)
- Provide direct support to project managers and accounting team
- General office support
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in accounts payable, contract administration, or office administration (construction experience preferred)
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and FOUNDATION accounting software (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
