Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and carpentry.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and machinery used in a commercial business.
- Conduct inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential problems or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in repair processes.
- Collaborate with other team members on larger maintenance projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC, Plumbing.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems and logic controllers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to maintenance tasks.
