Responsibilities
About this role
As a Network Architect in our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across hybrid multi-cloud environments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance across on-premises and cloud-based systems.
JOB DUTIES
- Network Design and Optimization: - Architect and optimize network solutions that span on-premises data centers and multiple cloud platforms- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability of network components- Collaborate with other architects to align network designs with overall system architecture
- Cloud Integration: - Integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)- Design and implement secure and efficient data migration strategies between environments- Understand cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their impact on network design
- Security and Compliance: - Implement network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address threats and vulnerabilities- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: - Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems- Optimize network traffic for efficient data transfer
- Documentation and Communication: - Maintain detailed network architecture documentation- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including IT teams, developers, and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conform with all company policies and procedures

Education and Experience
- 4-6 years experience in network design and optimization required
- Experience with cloud infrastructure required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required
Licenses
- Cisco Certified Network Professional preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associate preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
