Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of annual revenue strategies to achieve and exceed company sales goals.
- Drive new business generation while expanding and optimizing existing accounts and channels.
- Engage in executive-level, value-based selling across professional, retail, and strategic partner segments.
- Provide insights and recommendations to influence sales strategies, product development, and long-term business planning.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen to understand the P&L impact of sales decisions.
Team Leadership & Performance Development
- Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales and education team with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, field coaching, and strategic account planning sessions.
- Inspire and motivate team members to achieve strong results, career growth, and alignment with company goals.
- Lead weekly/monthly sales meetings and ensure clear communication of goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Account Strategy & Key Partnerships
- Develop customer-level annual sales plans with structured quarterly business reviews.
- Strengthen relationships with executive decision-makers across large and national accounts.
- Guide teams in creating winning account strategies, maximizing customer lifetime value, and expanding market share.
- Own contract renewals, negotiations, and expansion opportunities.
- Champion the execution of Joint Business Planning with major accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration with inter-departmental leadership
- Partner closely with Marketing to develop and execute channel-specific strategies, demand-generation programs, and product launch plans.
- Work with Operations, Education, Product Development, and Finance to ensure alignment, scaling, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the key liaison for all sales-related initiatives across the organization.
Market Expertise & Channel Growth
- Maintain deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, channel dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify and address barriers to growth while implementing tactical and strategic solutions.
- Leverage channel insights to refine go-to-market strategies and expand share of voice and presence.
- Operational and Administrative Leadership
- Build and maintain an annual business plan that enhances profitability and supports sustained growth.
- Develop and oversee territory structure, compensation plans, incentive programs, and sales processes.
- Manage discounts, pricing exceptions, and margin improvement initiatives within company guidelines.
- Quickly and effectively resolve customer escalations while preserving strong long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- 8–12 years of progressive sales leadership experience; beauty, aesthetics, skincare, or professional services industry preferred.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and exceeding revenue goals.
- Expertise in strategic selling, key account management, contract negotiation, and channel development.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including the ability to interpret and influence P&L outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and presentation capabilities.
- Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
- *This role can be remote if residence is out of Utah. It does require monthly travel to home office as well as travel to different territories, trade shows, etc.
