This role offers the flexibility of operating your own vehicle while earning competitive weekly income. As an independent contractor, you'll manage your daily route, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure every package is delivered safely and on time. All drivers are required to pick up their assigned packages each morning from our Cleveland warehouse before beginning their delivery routes.
Duties
- Pick up assigned packages daily from our Cleveland warehouse.
- Safely operate your personal vehicle (Car, SUV, Minivan, or Cargo Van) to complete assigned delivery routes.
- Deliver small parcels to residential and commercial customers accurately and on schedule.
- Load, organize, secure, and unload packages safely while following proper lifting techniques.
- Use a smartphone and GPS navigation to complete routes efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices throughout your route.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or delivery issues.
- Complete all required Proof of Delivery (POD) photos and delivery documentation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at every stop.
- Report damaged packages, delivery exceptions, or incidents promptly.
Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Active automobile insurance.
- Reliable vehicle (Car, SUV, Minivan, or Cargo Van).
- Smartphone with reliable data service for navigation and delivery applications.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Previous delivery, courier, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely navigate delivery routes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
