Glunt Industries, Inc. is currently looking to add a Welder to our team. Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Tig & Mig & Sub Arc Welding
- Read & interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of welding preheats
- Operate cutting torch to cut metal parts
- Performs related tasks such as cutting, drilling and grinding
- Change weld wire & gas tank as needed
- Inspect welds for accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Meet production deadlines by following required specifications and procedures
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma (preferred)
- 2 years welding experience in heavy fabrication
- Successful completion of weld test
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints & weld symbols
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed to meet customer expectations
- Must comply with company policies and procedures and work in a safe manner at all times
