What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treatment Coordinator position at Gluck Orthodontics?
This is a relationship-building and sales position inside an orthodontic practice—and we want to be upfront about what that means.
Gluck Orthodontics is a privately owned Nashville practice that has been creating confident smiles and delivering Legendary Service for over 40 years. We're looking for someone to guide new patients from “We're thinking about orthodontic treatment” to “We're ready to get started.”
Sales experience is highly valued. Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus—but it's not required. We can teach you orthodontics.
If you're great with people, comfortable talking about money, motivated by goals, and confident asking for the “yes,” your experience may translate extremely well to this role.
Yes—this role involves sales. But we're not looking for someone who pressures people. We're looking for someone who can build trust, understand what's holding someone back, communicate value, and help families make confident decisions.
What You'll Actually Do
- Lead new patients and parents through the consultation experience
- Build relationships and clearly communicate Dr. Jono's treatment recommendations
- Present fees, insurance benefits, and payment options confidently
- Ask patients to start treatment and work through questions or objections
- Follow up with patients who aren't ready to start that day
- Take photos, X-rays, and digital scans—which means working inside a patient's mouth
- Communicate with patients by phone, email, and text
- Keep consultations, follow-up, and administrative details organized
- Build relationships with referring dental offices and contribute to practice growth
- Deliver the Legendary Gluck Experience from beginning to end
You May Be a Great Fit If...
- You genuinely enjoy meeting people and building relationships
- You're comfortable discussing money and asking someone to make a decision
- You're motivated by goals and like being accountable for results
- You're persistent with follow-up without being pushy
- You're warm and personable and can communicate clearly and get to the point
- You're a self-starter who wants to be part of a team where everyone pitches in
Experience in sales, hospitality, luxury retail, customer service, account management, recruiting, real estate, financial services, or another relationship-driven field may translate especially well.
