Key Responsibilities
1. Cash & Liquidity Management
- Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments
- Optimize working capital and cash utilization
- Maintain relationships with all banks and lenders
2. Risk Management
- Identify and manage financial risks (FX, interest rates)
- Implement hedging strategies
- Develop treasury policies and risk frameworks
3. Banking & Relationships
- Manage global banking relationships
- Negotiate banking services and fees
- Oversee treasury systems and payment infrastructure
4. Treasury Operations
- Supervise payments, settlements, and cash controls
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance
- Improve treasury processes and systems
5. Capital Markets & Investor Relations
- Manage the company’s debt portfolio, including monitoring covenants, maturities, and refinancing needs
- Support preparation of investor materials, including debt presentations and lender updates
- Act as a key contact for lenders and credit investors.
- Monitor market conditions and investor sentiment to inform funding strategy
6. Strategic Contribution
- Advise CFO on financial strategy
- Support M&A, investments, and capital allocation decisions
- Provide insights on macroeconomic and financial market trends
- Align treasury strategy with broader capital structure and investor expectations
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACT, CFA, ACA) often preferred
- 5–7 years in treasury/banking roles
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, debt instruments, and capital markets
- Experience engaging with investors, lenders, or rating agencies is a strong advantage
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS)
