We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Deliver individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions to promote mental health stability and resilience.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and behavioral management strategies to motivate clients toward positive change.
• Manage complex cases involving trauma, PTSD, grief, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and chronic pain conditions with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate records of patient care, assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to ensure holistic patient support.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to evidence-based practices.
• Provide telehealth services when appropriate to expand access to care for remote or underserved populations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. A valid license or certification as a licensed therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) is required.
• Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings; experience with pediatrics and special education is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and crisis management techniques.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic purposes; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Competence in crisis intervention strategies and managing high-stress situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations; experience in telehealth platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions; understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is advantageous.
