Inventory Specialist IIS - 2nd Shift (3CC)

The inventory specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily transaction processing, cycle counts, and physical verifications. You will be expected to keep precise record/history of all daily transactions to ensure we are prepared for all annual audits. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, and proficiency with inventory systems including MS excel.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Primary 

• Generate regular reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and other key metrics
• Work closely with cross functional teams to optimize the flow of materials and reduce excess or obsolete inventory 
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of live inventory data
• Keep detailed records of inventory and audits 

Secondary

• Able to lift or move boxes if needed
• Conduct any additional physical counts for high critical items provided by HMGMA

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Solid understanding of inventory management systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and collaborate effectively
• Intermediate Excel Proficiency (Pivot tables, Vlookup/Xlook up, basic formulas)

The estimated base salary rate for the Operations (Inventory) Specialist is $59,000-$62,000 annually. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
