Summary
The Senior Analyst - Vehicle Logistics Procurement and Projects will be responsible for support the day-to-day Procurement operations for all business departments at GLOVIS America, Inc. Position is responsible for assisting with all vendor (direct and non- direct) contracts to include negotiation, implementation, procurement of goods and services. Duties include but are not limited to; participating in the review of vendor rates, market studies, and support supplier relationships for the best procurement/ business practices.

Duties include but are not limited to; participating in the review of vendor rates, market studies, and support supplier relationships for the best procurement/ business practices.
Responsibilities
- Support Supplier Management and general oversight to all department procurement with external supply chain and its processes
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential suppliers, as well as internal business stakeholders
- Proactive support for overall supplier performance and fidelity of supplier scorecards
- Assist with categories of procurement activities to maintain continuity of supply for current and future business needs
- Assist with reviewing existing supplier contracts, ensure on-going and future feasibility with internal stakeholders
- Prepare market study insights and trends for related business and for required/potential outsourced categories of spend (Ocean, OTR, Rail, Intermodal, facilities, etc.)
- Demand and Capacity Planning
- Monitor supplier capacity vs. forecasted demand
- Identify potential supply constraints or disruptions in advance
- Risk & Scenario Planning
- Identify risks (market volatility, fuel costs, geopolitical issues) and prepare scenario planning (best/worst case)
- Develop mitigation strategies
- RFx/Proposal Management:
- Support and assist with RFx process for new/recurring demand: requirements definition, bidder identification, critical timelines
- Work with internal stakeholders to:
- Analyze proposals and opportunities
- Support the process to select optimum suppliers, favorable cost/pricing terms and ensure compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Customer requirements
- Assist with the development and execution of negotiation plans
- Coordinate inter-departmental communication with Business Development, Finance, Legal, internal consumers, GLOVIS leadership to execute Contract approvals
- Assist with preparing proposal of developmental projects
- Identify areas to improve/ increase Procurement planning, control and accountability with the business groups
- Support the Procurement organization as needed and support management requests for information, analyses and insights

- H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 3 - 5 Years of Direct Experience in Supplier Management, Logistics, and/or Project Management Required
- 4 - 7 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
- Legal Document or Automotive Logistics Experience Preferred
