Summary

The Senior Analyst, Client Accounts position will provide valuable support in analyzing financial data, evaluating potential new business opportunities, and responding to requests for new services from existing customers. Analyst will also provide significant support in analyzing business performance and profitability, by preparing recurring reports, aiding executive management to make strategic decisions.

Compensation Range

$58,000- $63,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Data Collecting
• Download and obtain various data from company systems, including SAP, to aid in reporting tools and ad hoc related projects
• Organize and maintain large amounts of data, analyze, and make the data presentable to communicate financial performance metrics and insights to management
• Tracking of revenue and cost, rate and tariff schedules, noting status and rate escalations
• Provide regular weekly/monthly reporting and analyzing of financial results, for all Customers and sections of operations
• Analyze historical data to develop accurate volume, revenue, cost, and profitability forecasts
• Identify opportunities to optimize revenue and profitability and bringing findings to the attention of the Manager/HOT/HOD
• Project and Special Study Support
• Create, maintain and improve templates in order to prepare pricing (revenue rates) including overall financial/profitability impact
• Review data and assumptions prepared by other teams, performing necessary due diligence and questioning areas where needed, and present any issues found to Manager/HOT/HOD
• Provide comprehensive follow-up and prepare variance analysis studies to assess the outcome of the planned versus actual
• Support the development of PowerPoint presentations, internal approval documents (red folders) and supporting analysis for Manager/HOT/HOD, as needed
• Provide support to the Contracts Management manager as needed, including the preparation of revenue and profitability impact summaries as a result of contractual changes
• Collaborate with and provide support to cross-functional teams including operations and finance, on day-to-day tasks as well as special projects

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills Preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 3-5 years of related experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis Required
• 4-7 years of related experience in Vehicle Logistics and/or Automotive Industry Preferred
