Responsibilities
Verify all PIO codes match work order/ Monroney label
- Inspect/tag vehicle for any damage (notify Supervisor or Manager of quality concerns)
- Ensure Vin number on vehicle matches the work order and pillar B panel
- Verify all PIO codes match work order and Monroney label
- Ensure that the interior of the vehicle is clean and free of debris
- Drive both automatic and stick shift vehicles
- Inspect all vehicles according to customer specifications using i-sheets and instructions given by the supervisor and/or trainer.
- Fill or Type in PDI worksheets based on vehicle model (hardcopy or tablet)
- Ensure Vin number on vehicle matches the work order and pillar B panel
- Verify all PIO codes match work order and Monroney label
- Review all necessary paperwork for proper verification prior to completion of PDI
- Properly utilize assigned scanner and tablets.
- Utilize check in/out procedures to allow for proper asset retention procedures.
Compensation
$23.59 per hour
Skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite is required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English Required
- Bilingual Spanish is desired but not required
- Database management system experience required
- Must be able to direct work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, utilize good judgment when dealing with personnel, and be discreet about confidential information.
- Must remain calm and maintain professionalism during difficult situations
- Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
- Must hold a valid Driver's license
- 3 years experience in automotive, manufacturing, or processing Required
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of right and left feet
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping and hand manipulation for computer and copy machine use
- Stand, walk and drive constantly 5 hours per day
- Sit, bend, stoop, climb, reach over shoulder, kneel, balance, push, pull, squat, crawl, crouch occasionally 1-3 hours per day
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Working and Environmental Conditions
- Typical low-level noise exposure based in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Exposure to vehicle fumes
- The position is based out of Port Hueneme, CA
