Summary
The Analyst - Air Logistics position will be responsible for managing the overall Air Import & Export daily operations. Responsibilities
- General 3PL operations (Inbound, Outbound, In-land, and Warehouse/Distribution)
- Oversee the transportation of freight and ensure complete customer satisfaction by facilitating timely and accurate communication
- Provide guidance and direction to freight forwarding operation team on operational decisions based on immediate requirements and urgent transportation
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, inland transportation carriers to ensure that a premium level of customer service is always present
- Accurately manage and maintain departmental operational tasks such as accounting, reporting, and records keeping in accordance with internal policies, and state and federal regulations
- Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
- Ensure that all issues related to service failures are followed up on and corrective action implemented
- Implement and continuously enhance Air Freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export)
- Prepare FF month end, support Finance/Accounting department for invoice, inquiries, aging, and reconciliation
- Manage and monitor freight forwarding accounts receivable an d accounts payable
- Customer services and client management
- New accounts operation set-up support and competitive analysis
- Accomplish top management mission by completing related results as needed
- Other duties as assigned
