We are seeking a skilled, dependable and customer-focused Service Plumber to join our team. The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, professional customer service, and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates effectively with customers, and can work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing problems, including leaks, clogged drains, faulty fixtures, and water pressure issues.
- Install, repair, and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, pipes, valves, and other plumbing components.
- Perform routine plumbing maintenance and preventative service.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Explain plumbing problems, repair options, and pricing to customers clearly and professionally.
- Prepare accurate estimates, service tickets, invoices, and job documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch, management, and customers regarding scheduling, job progress. and follow-up needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and properly care for company tools and equipment.
- Follow all applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Identify additional necessary repairs and communicate recommendations honestly.
- Complete assigned service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
