Primary Job Functions
- Safely operate organization to transport youth to and from programs, schools, events, and appointments.
- Follow all traffic laws, organizational policies, and transportation safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper supervision, safe boarding/exiting procedures, and youth accountability during transport.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with youth riders.
- Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive communication and de-escalation when needed.
- Support youth in understanding and following transportation rules.
- Report any concerns regarding youth safety, behavior, or wellbeing to the Program Manager.
- Collaborate with program staff to plan routes, schedules, and transportation needs.
