Job Description:

Glosten is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for accounts payable, corporate credit card reconciliations, employee expense reimbursements, collections of outstanding accounts receivable, and assisting with monthly billing and close activities. The Staff Accountant will also support job activation, client and vendor setup in Deltek Vantagepoint and collaborate closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable process, including vendor invoice entry, coding, and payment.
• Perform weekly credit card reconciliations for all company-issued credit cards.
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor and support collections of outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Activate new billable and overhead jobs in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Set up new clients and vendors in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Assist the revenue accountant in the monthly billing process.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end close.
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, with exposure to accounts payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal departments and employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ADP and Deltek VantagePoint.
