Ripken Pigeon Forge Sales & Customer Service Internship

Are you a student looking for a paid summer internship? Are you looking to gain real world sales experience and customer service skills? Glossy Finish is the place for you. We are a youth sports photography company that "Captures Moments and Creates Memories" for players and families alike. We offer digital packages and physical prints that players and parents get to take home with them. We are looking for high energy, friendly, motivated sales people to secure registrations, assist with orders, and provide excellent customer service. Starting pay is $13/hour college credit sale bonuses and travel if you are not local.

Must have a minimum availability of six weeks however, applicants with full summer availability are preferred. 

Must be able to be on your feet for long periods in the outdoors and bending over. 

The 2026 summer season at The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge, TN is from May 31st- estimated August 16th. 

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships:  Establish positive relationships with clients, including parents, coaches, league officials, athletes, and the Glossy Finish team.

• Maintain college internship requirements: Provide and/or gather what is needed to receive college credit to/from your career center.

• Sell: Present our products, explain options to customers, secure registrations, and close sales. 

• Set up/break down: Setting up/down tables and tents with samples and necessary equipment. 

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills:  Ability to interact effectively with children, parents, coaches, and league officials. 

• Patience and flexibility:  Willingness to work with young athletes of varying ages and skill levels, and adapt to changing game situations.

• Strong work ethic:  Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, to cover sporting events.

• Business acumen:  Knowledge of sales and marketing principles to effectively promote and sell photography services. 

Additional Considerations:

• Passion for youth sports:  A genuine enthusiasm for working with young athletes and parents

• Background check:  Successful completion of a background check, as required for working with children.

• Reliable transportation:  Access to reliable transportation to travel to various sporting venues.
