Gloss Up Nail Bar & Headspa is hiring a Receptionist to join our team!
We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, energetic, responsible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Welcome and greet customers with a warm, positive attitude
* Check customers in and out
* Answer phone calls and respond to customer questions
* Schedule and manage appointments
* Manage walk-in customers and coordinate appointments with technicians
* Operate the salon POS system and process payments accurately
* Communicate with nail technicians and HeadSpa technicians about appointments and customer needs
* Help customers select services and understand service pricing
* Assist technicians with supplies, drinks, color books, and other salon needs
* Keep the front desk and reception area clean, organized, and presentable
* Restock supplies when needed
* Help maintain a smooth customer flow during busy hours
* Handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully
* Follow all salon policies, procedures, and customer-service standards
* Assist with other salon duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 18 years old or older
* Friendly and welcoming personality
* Professional attitude and appearance
* Excellent customer-service and communication skills
* Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
* Fast learner and comfortable using computers and POS systems
* Able to stand and move around for extended periods
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Previous salon, beauty, receptionist, or customer-service experience is a plus
* Basic knowledge of nail salon and beauty services is preferred
