What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time/PRN Assisted Living Caregiver Weekends Required position at Glory B Assisted Living Senior Care?
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide personalized care and support for residents in an assisted living facility. As a caregiver you will help residents with daily living activities, prepare and provide meals, administer medicine, promote independence and dignity, and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Resident Care:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (including bathing, dressing, and medication reminders).
- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to the House Manager or healthcare provider.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse.
- Administer medicine
- Assist families and visitors as needed.
- Provide daily reports to designated staff at the end of shift.
- Accompany residents to scheduled outings.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents.
Household Duties:
- Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying resident rooms, and common areas.
- Help with meal preparation and serve meals/snacks according to dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment.
Communication/Documentation/Administrative Duties:
- Record care provided and observations in resident logs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other staff.
- Follow all policies and procedures regarding resident safety, privacy, and dignity.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or home care.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Med Tech, CPR, and First Aid certification
- Updated TB and MMRV immunity
- Ability to pass background check and health screening.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
