Litigation Paralegal | Salary up to $120K | Hybrid (NYC)
Our client, a highly regarded international litigation powerhouse, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its New York team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside top-tier attorneys on complex, high-stakes matters from inception through trial and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in all phases of litigation, with hands-on exposure to trial work. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through resolution and appeal
- Prepare affidavits, legal correspondence, and other case-related documentation
- Organize and maintain case files in both electronic and paper filing systems
- Manage calendars, deadlines, hearings, and overall case logistics
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Compile and organize exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- File pleadings with courts and coordinate with clerks as needed
- Attend trials and arbitrations, providing on-site support and acting as liaison between trial teams and internal/external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3–8 years of litigation paralegal experience, including at least 1 year within a BigLaw environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must have attended at least one in-court trial
- Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle, including discovery, trial, and appeals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Relativity
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed for trial
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
