GloLoft is seeking a full-time Lead Waxing Technician to join our Raleigh team. We’re a supportive, growth-focused studio where estheticians can truly thrive. As our Lead Waxing Technician, you’ll train and mentor staff, elevate technique and consistency, and help shape a high-performing, client-centered team. You’ll play a key role in building confidence, refining skills, and ensuring every guest receives an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervisory Duties

• Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and coaching to new and current estheticians.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance on the service floor.
• Conduct 90-day and annual performance reviews for estheticians.
• Offer constructive feedback to support growth, consistency, and confidence. Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a high-performing, client-focused team.
  
  
  

Technical Expertise & Training

• Deliver expert-level waxing services, specializing in Brazilian and full-body techniques.
• Lead hands-on demonstrations, service refreshers, and ongoing training sessions.
• Develop and maintain technique protocols, service standards, and training materials.
• Troubleshoot service-related concerns and uphold quality control across the studio.
  
  
  

Operational Excellence

• Ensure all team members follow proper safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with management to identify performance gaps and training needs.
• Support a positive, professional, and client-focused studio culture.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and high-standard service environment.
  
  
  

Requirements:

We are looking for beauty professionals who are skilled, patient, and motivated to help others grow. To join our team, you should have:

• A current Esthetician or Cosmetology license in North Carolina
• 6–8 years of professional experience in full-body waxing and Brazilian services
• Sugaring experience is a plus
• Prior experience training or mentoring staff (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities
• Patience, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting others
• Excellent customer service skills and a client-centered mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high-quality results
  
  
  

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $30–$40 per hour
