The Director of a Family Office plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive wealth management and family office services. This individual is responsible for coordinating across investment advisory, tax planning, estate planning, philanthropic strategy, and lifestyle management.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to client families, overseeing and integrating all aspects of their financial and personal affairs.
- Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team including investment professionals, tax and legal advisors, and client service staff.
- Develop and implement tailored wealth management strategies, including investment oversight, estate planning, risk management, and generational wealth transfer.
- Oversee operations related to accounting, reporting, and compliance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with external advisors (e.g., attorneys, CPAs, investment managers) to ensure all aspects of a client’s financial plan are aligned.
- Drive business development efforts through referrals, networking, and maintaining an excellent reputation within the UHNW space.
Job Requirements:
- · Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, CPA, or CFP) preferred.
- · 10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a multi-family office environment.
