POSITION: Vice President - Manager Research (Privates and Publics)
LOCATION: NYC; CT is a potential option
Our Client is seeking a new investment professional to add to their growing team focusing on external manager selection and due diligence. This team manages a diverse portfolio across both public and private investments, and this position will be a generalist role working across asset classes, including Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, Public Equities, and Real Assets (predominantly fund investing.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across public and private asset classes
- Meet with external investment managers to conduct due diligence; review and monitor existing managers
- Contribute to the generation and evaluation of investment ideas, trends and strategies across all asset classes
- Prepare investment recommendations and memos for Investment Committee meetings
- On-going asset allocation, portfolio management and performance monitoring
- Cultivate strong relationships across the investment community
- Conduct ad-hoc special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6-8 years of experience in manager research
- A self-starter who can operate individually and as a member of a team
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
