Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Warehouse Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across our enterprise data environment. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, data modeling, and performance optimization, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide development teams.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to software development and data engineering teams.
• Perform advanced SQL performance tuning to support high-volume, mission-critical systems.
• Develop and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for ETL, data processing, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across network, database, application, and server layers.
• Oversee and guide performance tuning efforts for large-scale data warehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data models supporting reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Ensure best practices, code quality, and high standards in data architecture and system performance.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• 5 years troubleshooting complex technical issues (network, database, application, servers).
• 3 years data modeling for reporting and analytics environments.
• 5 years SQL performance tuning experience.
• 3 years providing technical guidance to development teams.
• 3 years leading or guiding performance tuning of enterprise data warehouse systems.
• 5 years hands-on Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Additional experience beyond the minimum in: complex technical troubleshooting, data modeling, performance tuning leadership
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse modernization or cloud migrations (optional—add if relevant).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
