We specialize in moving freight across the U.S. — from dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds to hotshots, oversized equipment, and time-sensitive deliveries.We’re growing fast — and looking for experienced freight sales pros to help fuel that growth.We’re excited to bring in sharp, motivated people with just the right attitude.Position Summary:As a Transportation Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing your own book of freight business. You’ll prospect, quote, close, and manage customer relationships .If you know how to bring in freight and are looking for a company that moves it with excellence — we want to hear from you.The ideal candidate will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts
- Develop positive relationship with clients
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships (shippers, brokers, and direct accounts)
- Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to quoting, onboarding, and retention
- Negotiate pricing and ensure margin targets are met
- Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth freight execution
- Track customer performance and proactively follow up to grow business
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Business, Communications Logistics, or Transportation, preferred but not required.
- 1 year of experience in freight brokerage, transportation sales, or 3PL is a plus if you do not have the education.
- Experience as a Sales Manager
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Working knowledge of load boards (DAT, Truckstop), rate negotiation, and lane trends is a plus but not required
- Existing book of business is a plus — but not required
- Self-starter with strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
