Role Description
The Cannington Agency is looking for a full-time Life Insurance Agent to join our Augusta, Georgia team. This is a hybrid position that combines time in the office with the flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
In this role, you’ll meet with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their needs and recommend life insurance and supplemental benefit solutions that fit their goals. You’ll build relationships, educate clients on their options, complete policy applications, and provide ongoing support through policy reviews and claims assistance.
You’ll also spend time prospecting for new clients, following up on leads, participating in training, and working alongside a supportive team that’s committed to helping each other grow. If you enjoy meeting new people, making a positive impact, and being rewarded for your effort, this is an excellent opportunity.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Enjoys helping people and providing outstanding customer service.
* Has experience in insurance or sales, or is eager to learn and build a successful career.
* Can explain insurance products in a clear, honest, and easy-to-understand way.
* Has a basic understanding of financial concepts and enjoys helping clients make informed decisions.
* Holds a state Life and Health Insurance license, or is willing to obtain one quickly.
* Is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
* Has reliable transportation for client meetings throughout the Augusta area.
* Works well independently while also being a dependable team player.
